Took the plung yesterday

Well after months of research, hours of browsing and a few test drives, I bought a Genesis V6. I ended up with a pearl white with Black leather interior, with the premium plus option. It also has the ipod cable, and trunk cargo tray.
The dealer had it on the showroom and had also installed tinted windows, a clear bra and a paint sealer. Out the door it was $32,714. A smokin deal if I say so. After driving it a few miles it is a beautiful car. Hyundai put a lot of thought into this car. It handles great, has good power , even at a mile high, and is a looker. Today we head over to my oldest sons for thanksgiving. He owns two Mercedes, cant wait to let him drive it.

You WILL love the car. I purchased my Black / Black V6 premium plus Genesis in July. I've had over three dozen cars in my life and this is one of only three that I say I LOVE. Get ready for people to come up to you on the street and ask you what kind of car it is. Everywhere I go I get thumbs up and second stares. Only a few die-hard BMW or MB owners will complain that it's only a Hyundai. Most people will tell you they think it's gorgeous.

Congrats and welcome to the family. I to brought a white with Black interior V6. In new york I get so many questions and stares because when the white is clean I think it the best color. City Island two weeks ago? Didn't hear about it. About that time I drove up to Mt. Vernon to see another Genny. Wish I knew, I'd really love to meet some other enthusiasts. Only had the car a month or so, so I was just getting around to the forums.

You must the one who went to see my man Maddmoe about the invisible Bra. I was going to stop by so you can how the bra looks on a white Genesis. I think we will try again early next year. Maddmoe has your number, so we will call you. By the way living in New York City you should get the invisible bra, because you know how people park here, they don't stop until they hit your car. LOL

Congrats healeybob on your purchase. I just purchased mine on the 23rd and picked it up on the 25th. Black/ Black Tech pkg 4.6 Tinted windows.I have not had mine in streets much yet. The weather here is supposed to be rather nice (60's) for Saturday so I will take it out for a spin.

I have 5k on my V6 and love it. It gets waaaaay better gas milage than my Tiburon (which I loved) and is so sooth and quiet that it is, literally, a refuge for me when I leave the insane-asyllum that I work for (figuratively speaking). There area a few neat things you can do to make your car really distinctive--mine is black, and I added deep window tint, black wheels and put the new "wings" badges on it.....I get asked if it is a Bently, sometimes. Anyway....enjoy!

If Bob paid $32k for a 2010 V6 Premium Plus, I'd say that was a really good deal! I was happy to pay that for a 2009.
