Touch Screen Film/Protection

Has anyone applied a screen protection film to their touch screen? If so, what was the result?

I noticed a few fine scratches on mine recently and want to avoid more.

i guess it wouldn't hurt... I like the Dayvue in the first link...i also use this for all interior plastics, and center consoles, Nav screens...

I have the first generation Genesis sedan. I used to work for a company called Ghost Armor and we sold polyurethane screen protectors for electronic devices and more. I basically cut out a sheet and applied it to the screen of my car without issues (only because I have the experience). Not the first or last time I've done that kind of installation in a car. I installed a matte screen to reduce oils and glare, it's also easier to clean. I have a distaste for plastic screen protectors.

I had the factory placed cover on the screen, but I removed it after the second week I bought the car You almost cannot see it, but I saw it every time

I purchased a matte non-reflective screen protector for the iPad on Amazon. It came with 2 protectors, which I then used to cut to size for my Genesis Ultimate.

I recommend that everyone put a screen protector on their NAV screen as it scratches very easily. You will likely look at that screen everyday for years, why see it mangled with scratches?
