My wife just curbed a freaking wheel (RR) too, but fortunately, it was mild, and like 1/2". I used a Sharpie black PAINT marker (not the purplish permanent marker), and it's invisible now. I didn't bother trying to sand it down smoother, because would have make it much larger. But I'd definitely try to smooth out the one above first. The Sharpie is a temporary solution with something that big, but worked perfectly for the smaller rash my car has. I can't even see it knowing where it is while standing up close, so that's good enough for me. Ha ha.

I ended up going to my Genesis dealer. It was only $45 to fix. No headache with finding the correct color myself.

Hey, did you find a solution to your touch-up paint problem? Please post details if you did. I'd buy it if an exact match. When I change the tires, the little rash I painted black might surface again, and to touch it up better next time. Thank you.

There’s places that will come to you and fix your rims. I had curb rash on my Mustang and they fixed two wheels and painted them for 200. I was impressed. Lots of them out there.

Went to my Genesis dealer for an oil change and asked them how much to fix curb rash on one of my sport advanced gloss black wheels. I think depending on how bad it is the price fluctuates but mine only cost $45. My damaged wheel is above for reference.

My wife curbed one of the G70 black wheels (not that bad; maybe like inch and a half), and believe it or not, I used a black Sharpie paint pen, and even on my knees, it's hard to see where the damage is. I was pleasantly surprised by that. If the wheels were silver, no way it'd be invisible like with the black wheels. So I'd give that a try before anything else. Hope this helps.
