Transmision Jerk?

I notice that sometimes when I go from neutral to drive, there's sometimes a rough "jerk" and also sometimes when I manually try to shift into a specific lower gear.

Anyone else?

I get a jerk from 1st to 2nd sometimes.

I thought "the jerk" was 3rd...

Check transmission fluid if it’s red and low, add more transmission fluid, if it’s black get a transmission oil and filter change immediately. If it’s red and full, then it could be something internal in the transmission that's wearing out or the torque converter that's going bad.
