Transmission faliure

Hi everybody!
Im Gabor from Europe Hungary.
I have a 2015 Genesis sedan 5.0. Unfortunatelly I have a transmission problem , and my mechanics can not solve them . If I put my car in R it goes backword , but if I put it in D nothing happens. I was told that the transmission is ok both mechanickly and elektrically too but it still does not move. Anybody had same kind of problem? How could it be solved?

When shifting from Reverse, put the car back in Park for a few seconds and then into Drive. It might be as simple as the shift position sensor. If a fault is detected, the transmission will not engage drive.

Also, we need more details. How many miles/kilometers do you have? Has the transmission been serviced? If so, when and by whom? Do you have RWD or AWD? Are the problems you are experiencing in only cold temperatures or does it happen all the time? If you are the first owner of this car, you should still have the remaining Powertrain warranty (10 years, 160000kms).
