Transmission hard shift into first?

Just at 63k miles and I noticed this weekend, after coming to a stop , in gear, I feel the car shift into first gear, just a little. I don't remember having this happen with this car before. it is just a stutter like something is trying to push the car. since I have the brake on it doesn't move at all.

Is this a concern?

Probably not but have your dealer drive with you and ask them to check it out.

Have you checked the transmission, sometimes there will be a problem with rack-and-pinion system..
