  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Not surpisingly, a few more positive reviews (being from newspapers rather than auto publications, this will likely help bring news of the Genesis to more of the general public rather than auto enthusiasts).

Note that "AWD is under consideration, but not until Gen II..."

Hmm, I take this to mean that AWD won't be offered during the Genesis mid-cycle refresh and that AWD (if it is ever offered) won't come until the next gen model.

"You'll pay a little more for the Genesis, but it outpaces mainstream competitors like the 300 and Avalon in many respects. However, it should also put more expensive competitors like the Mercedes-Benz E-Class and BMW 5 Series on notice because it can keep up with them in some areas, too. In the end, the Genesis is yet another example of Hyundai doing what it does best: bringing value to a segment of the market, in this case the luxury sedan segment."

More good reviews.. Thank you for posting this up!

I do think people are going to be a little confused when they mention how Hyundai benchmarked the 5-Series, GS and E-Class with the Genesis.. People are going to assume it's the same size as these cars.. It's not.. I'd like to see more mention of the fact that these cars resemble the full-size flagships of these companies. It's not quite "there", but it's a very good attempt. Much better than Cadillac has done..
