  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

:(I'm embarrassed to admit that I probably am not smart enough to figure out how to use the trip meter to track two trips at the same time.

It seems like whenever I reset one trip, it resets all or part of all trips.

I love the display, its well laid out, but I just can't figure out how to do what I want to do.

I've tried the manual, and apparently its authors think the task is so obvious any idiot could figure it out, because they say little or nothing about how to use it.

:)Well, I guess I'm an exception to that premise, I'm an idiot who can't figure out how to work it.

(I'm a computer nut, technically oriented guy, and you don't know how embarrassing it is for me to admit I'm clueless on this matter).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

How are you resetting ?

if you use the button on left side of the wheel when the trip is showing it will reset that trip.

I can't reset both no matter how I try.

I just hold the reset button with trip for whatever trip is currently showing, and it only resets that one trip.

BocaDave--

I'm still trying to figure out the amount of engine revolutions in between piss stops and now I have to worry about the mileage gauge? Where will it end? We don't have analytical minds like yours. Please go easy on us--

The next thing you'll question is how may wipes will the wiper whip when set on low speed doing 60 mph? Stop already. Go out and play golf--

Thanks to all you who wrote in. My trip meter must be malfunctioning. I'll drop it off at the dealer and grin all the way to the bank when I think about the l-o-n-g warranty.

Thanks again,
