So to you, all car sales men are pathological liars, anyone who doesn't make as much money as you or buys cars at the lower end of the price range are "less sophisticated, buy cars less often, and more easily fooled".

That's a pretty high horse you sit upon there. I hope you don't fall off of it as that would be devastating.

Most car salesman and dealerships are a bunch of crooks...not defending his comments just saying that if you didn't have a bad experience buying or selling a car from a car dealership you probably never purchased or sold a car in the first place.

lol... not quite - I do only have the v6 awd and most of my time is on the highway.

the L brackets are probably the best thing since sliced bread - as it doesn't limit me to size like the crates do, and can be stuck anywhere on the carpeted side of the mat to hold things against the front, back or sides of the trunk. I think that is the coolest thing VW has done by throwing them in - so when it came to my cars I ordered a few sets of them from Azon...

In the last 12 years, I bought 1 Nissan and 2 Chevy trucks, 3 Harleys, 4 Hyundais and 1 Pontiac, all new and from 7 different dealers.
And I didn't have any issues with any of them. They new their product for the most part.

And over my life time, I've bought a whole lot more new cars in several different states and still no issues.

But I also do my homework before going in to buy a vehicle. 5 of those vehicle's I traded in and they kept all of them on the lot for resale instead of wholesaling them out, which is the norm.
