How do I remove the upper portion under the speakers? I see there are little screw looking things, I tried using a Allen wrench but they did not turn. How do you remove these so I can drop the panel?
 
In my 2012, they are rivets. Punch out the center, or drill them out.
 
That sucks I did not realize they where rivets did you re-rivet yours when you where done?
 
Yeah, I was not impressed either! I drilled out the holes, and used the same style retainers as the rest of the trunk trim.

OMG this. Please do not drill anything! Pull up the weather stripping and then work your way in!!!!
