Does anyone know what the indentation with clamp is on the top of the inside trunk of the 2015 Genesis is for?
 
Probably for the roadside warning triangle.

Umbrella storage spot??
 
Umbrella would be ideal tool for the clamps. But doesnt mean I cant have an axe or tomahawk or a bat there. just an idea.........(slowly whistles and walks away)

i watched a fair share of korean mafia/japanese yakuza movies, they always have their bats, axes, and sashimi knives ready in the trunk. im sure some thought went into it when designing the size hahaha

ok.. this is a rhetorical question......:) Why would you put an umbrella holder in the trunk? Youd already be wet by the time you get the trunk and the umbrella open....I know DUH !!!
 
According to the manual it is for hanging clothes.
