  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I noticed that the bottom of my trunk lid seems to be rubbing on certain parts of the bumper. At least i think it is rubbing. Paint seems to have come off. I was able to slip some paper between the trunk lid and bumper when closed and it went through fine. I can only assume it is rubbing going over bumpy terrain. I was just curious if anyone else has this issue going on and looking for any suggestions on how to prevent it. Pictures may not be the best.

The other issue is that my trunk floor mat doesnt seem to be supported very well by the trunk floor. If i take it out of the car you can see how it is bowed. There is one piece of foam under the mat which sits on top of the battery but that is all i have in terms of real support. There doesnt seem to be any good support at the rear of the trunk to hold up the floor mat.

Anyone else's trunk floor mat like this?? Anyone know what the hook on the back underside of the floor mat is for.
