Trunk spoiler

Does anyone else think the Genesis could benefit greatly from a nice simple trunk mounted spoiler? It wouldn't do much for performance but I think it would help in the looks department.

You must be reading my mind. I was wondering this morning how this would look. My conclusion is that it would have to be very, very subtle. IMO, with the already nice flwing lines anything more than just a subtle design element would look garish.

I think the idea for a rear spoiler is excellent. It doesn't have to be huge. It can be as small as a lip spoiler like mentioned. But something... Not that it looks bad as is! It doesn't! But a little something would be nice... I'm sure options will be available from aftermarket vendors in time...

There was a picture a couple months ago of a body shop working on a spoiler... I think rear spoiler was one of the top options people were interested in when we did the poll

I think rear spoilers complete the look, but I dont like ones that are raised off the trunk. Lip spoilers are perfectly subtle

Courtesy H in Tampa have a Genesis in stock with a little rear spoiler as a $600 option. Not an option worth the price IMHO.

No lip spoiler is worth $600. Can you find or take a pic of it? If they offer it then there must be something out there. Great find

That's the one the dealer in Tampa had on the Genesis. It may have been port installed

Well for $219 thats not bad but then u need the color code of your vehicle so that u can take it somewhere to get it painted & matched the install job is simple as its on with 3m tape (if you know what your doing that is)

Rear lip spoilers painted for $267.00 on ebay only 6 left for the 2009 genesis any color with a 3 year warranty check it out, im thinking seriously about buying one but would like to see one on a car first
