  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

About to purchase a 2011 Genny. There are optional mudguards. ANyone have a picture of what they look like. Front or Rear or Both?

I think there's a fairly recent thread here someplace with discussion and photos

Thanks! - Just what I wanted! - I like em'

Assuming you decide to have them painted, make sure you get someone who knows how to paint plastic so that the paint flexes. The prep work is critical. I had to take mine back for cracks, the shop guy then tried 2 more times before he got it right!

I'm getting a Gray Genny. What color do the mudguards come in?

That's what I'm trying to tell you. They come black. You have to have them painted if you want to match your car.

One additional thing. Although the splash guards look small, they do the job. I don't know if it is because of aerodynamics (sp) or not, but when I drive in the rain, or on dirty roads, the sides of the car stay much cleaner than they did before I had the guards installed.
