  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My Genesis G80, 2018, 3.3T is not picking up speed as before and hesitates when I hit the gas to accelerate at times. It has 56,000 miles now and I purchased it with 29,000 miles about 4 months ago. Should I run premium gas at all times or could it be tune-up? Just had it serviced at dealership 2 weeks ago and they didn't mention the problem at all but charged me for other suff. Help!

I got a 2019 g80 sport and I will say keep using premium gas. It's tuned for it. It will still run just fine on all other gas types. Using premium will keep your performance up and engine running happy. The way I see it is only use regular when you are in a pinch. And or if you do add some octane boost to help even it out. Hope this helps.
