  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Sometimes the turn signals do not work, and sometimes the quit working while the signal is engaged. Mostly left turn signal, but occasionally the right one.

I've already had the repair for the steering wheel tilt done at the dealer

Any advise?

Anyone had this issue?
Googling and searching here did not return any help on this

Regards,
Rick

My guess is when they fixed your tilt wheel issue they left something loose. I would take it back to the dealer.

Turn signals quit after 4 clicks UNLESS you push them fully down/up. It's a feature.

Depends on the year (2012 has the feature, 2009 does not).

It's not the 4 click feature, with the turn signal lever clicked down and latched for a left turn, the signal stops flashing completely. It stays off until After the turn is made, and the lever automatically returning to center, it starts the 4 flash deal then stops. Hope this clears up what the issue is.

Btw: had the issue prior to the tilt repair.

Sounds like the signal switch is malfunctioning. Take it to the dealer.

Dealer replaced the multi-function switch. No charge, warranty.

Said it's fairly common, had parts in stock.
