  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Isn’t the first high end car to have one nor will it be the last. And it already runs in the 9s. 9.93 I believe

I know, but it sucks. it shouldn't be offered in an automatic in the first place, at least they still allow you to order one with a 6-sp manual.

The new dct it comes with shifts faster than any manual can. I’ll take that any day of the week for my 5 o’clock Vegas traffic.

I agree, but it they did not offer an auto few people would know how to drive it today. Admittedly, the trans is better than the old 3 speed Ford-O-Matic. They should at least have the decency to put a lever instead of a knob.

those that cannot drive a manual should not be allowed to drive a 760hp car..

Understand but they want to sell thousands of them not just 12 to the true enthusiasts that knows how to shift. . Its all about money.

As of now I think they are only producing 5500 units

I know plenty of enthusiasts who value lap times over nostalgia. With a DCT you're going to be much quicker around a track...which is the actual point of this car.

Better than the push button gears in the steering wheel on our 58 Edsel. That car came out of park and took out the neighbor's garage.
