According to this report citing Asia Economics.

(If accurate), interesting stuff about the powertrain lineup -

2.0T - 252 HP
2.5T - 303 HP
3.3TT - 365 HP

Likely won't see the 2.0T in NA.

The GV70 getting the 3.3TT instead of the 3.5TT leads further credence to the F/L G70 sticking w/ the 3.3.L (at least for now).

The question is whether the 3.3TT (as well as the 2.0T) gets the Smart-Stream treatment; wouldn't make sense if it doesn't b/c Europe will be a key market for the GV70 and as is, the 3.3TT is a dirty engine which will penalize Genesis heavily w/ the upcoming WLTP regs.

If this report is accurate, surmising that Genesis is saving the 3.5TT for a future GV70 Sport (likely a little less power than the G80 Sport).

I still hate the exhaust!
If anyone from Genesis USA is reading these posts, they really do need to contact Korean HQ before it's too late to advise them to get rid of the extremely ugly vertical exhaust outlets on the GV70. If they end up with those they will lose a tremendous number of sales in the North American marketplace.

I don't really like them but if I liked everything else about the car it is not a deal breaker. Can't see them from the driver's seat.

Given what it takes to change them, you will see them like that for a couple of model years.

Curious what the reason is for foregoing the 3.5TT. I could be mistaken, but I believe the bore is the same between engines, which means the 3.5 is at minimum a stroked 3.3. I'd be surprised if they didn't make other changes to address NVH, which imho needs addressing.
