Uniq Performance Rigid Collars

It seems a number of us on the forums have installed a rigid collar kit from various vendors. I know of at least one person using SFR as well as Uniq Performance. If I am not mistaken, those individuals had the 2012+ and V6.

I have a 2011 V8, and am going to attempt to install the 2012+ kit from Uniq (10pc). I will take as detailed photos as I can, as well as document the process once we have it buttoned down, to better inform those of us that wish to do this in the future as well as to develop a cohesive set of instructions from the supplier. Uniq was very receptive to this and eagerly awaits what we find upon install.

That being said, if anyone can offer any tidbits of information before I start on this project (end of April) it will be greatly appreciated. I will peruse the forum to glean as much as I can as well as I know some of you have offered this info before.

I will also be installing BC Racing coilovers at that time, so a post containing detailed instructions may be forthcoming from that as well. If there are any questions or highlights wanted for either of these installs, please let me know an we will try to include. Can't wait! :D

I will be installing mine when the snow melts here in MN!

Check out the video - shows the install process on the Gen coupe. Pretty straight forward.

I have them, but have not installed. Still waiting on my suspension to arrive. I am doing everything at once, hence the wait.

Installed mine yesterday. Was a little bit of a pain, but i was surprised at the results! I too felt the car was a little sloppy and the steering felt loose, but right away everything felt much "tighter" and i am very pleased with the results. I wanted to do them before I put my coil overs on to make sure it was the collars and not the coils which cleaned up the issues. Cant wait to install coils and an alignment!

I apologize if this was already answered but: do the '12-14 ones fit the '09-11 models?

Finished the install last night. Took it for a ride today.
Found a nice pothole-laden road.
You can definitely feel that the chassis is tighter. Not as much shimmy and flex over rough roads. Don't feel as much being transferred to the steering wheel.
Definitely worth the $100
