On my morning commute today I spotted a champagne colored 1G sedan that was sporting what I can only describe as a buffet of badges.
The deck lid wore the standard flying H, PLUS a set of OEM wings, which were pasted to the lower left hand corner, just above the rear bumper. It looked like an attempt at offsetting the Genesis lettering on the lower right.
On the hood, there was a centered vertical flying H (like the old school merc, vw, jag, etc style) which I've never seen before, backed up by a set of wings about 3 inches behind it.
It was also sporting a sweet "No credit? Bad Credit? call 1-800...." magnet on the rear driver side door.
In that moment, what was once a beautiful car was reduced to the same nonsense I would expect to see on a 16 year old's Sebring. At least the headlights weren't hazed over.
