Open the disc tray
Press SETUP
Go to the bottom of the menu bar with the RIGHT key
Then go to the bottom of the menu with DOWN (entry should be named "Default")
Press 5
Select "Secret"
Press ENTER
The number that follows "Secret Code" is the RC
Select desired RC (0=codefree)
Press ENTER
Press SETUP again

Method 1:
Turn on the player (without a disc inserted)
Press 7, 7, 0
Method 2:
Turn on the player (without a disc inserted)
Press 7, 7, PLAY
Select region (0 = multi-region)
Press SETUP
Method 3:
Open the disc tray
Press 3, 8, 0, 0
Select RC (0=codefree)
Press SETUP
Close the disc tray

believe you would have to disable the gps or the speedometer signal to the head unit. dvd is designed to cut out when car is moving
