Update just came out to fix all PIN related errors and other bugs. Go into the App Store or Play Store to update.

It’s the Genesis Connected Services app on your phone (officially called Genesis Intelligent Assistant). App Store refers to iPhone users. Google Play store if you have an android. What "app store"? Is the issue related to the key fob? The card key? The Genesis cellphone app? The car's software? And, if it's the cellphone app, which? Apple or Android? Some clarity would be useful for us country bumpkins....

everything works for me on the app except for finding my car. I show some place I was a few months back. Todays update did not help with the location. I was hesitant to install it as I had no other issues with the app and did not want to mess with a good thing, but thought it would help with the location.Still won't work for me. Cant start the car and still cant locate it.

As far as starting it, are you going directly through the app or are you using a widget you set up on your home screen?
I have owned my GV60 for a few weeks now and have been unable to get the "Locate Vehicle" feature of the app to work. It worked once, but since then has shown my car in that same location over and over again. Only when the car is within a 1 mile radius of my phone does this feature work. I believe it was designed to locate your car in a parking lot/garage. Further, for some bizarre reason, I had to PRESS AND HOLD (rather than just a normal tap) the car icon on the "Vehicle Locator" screen to get the app to finally prompt me for a pin (or Face ID), which then resulted in it correctly locating the car.everything works for me on the app except for finding my car. I got it to work once in the past month or two. I am pretty sure, I was always near the car when I tried it, as I am the only one who drive it. I was at the dealer yesterday for my first service and I mentioned it to the service manager. He told me to uninstall the app and reinstall it. I am kind of afraid to do that as everything else works great. I will try holding down the icon to see if that works the next time I am in another location.
