  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi everyone. This may be a silly question but is there any confirmation the advance model in the US comes with an “eco” mode? I know the performance has at least sport, comfort, and eco, but I haven’t seen anything specific for the Advance. Like some tests with the Ioniq 5, I’m interested to see if range can be increased by partially disengaging the front motor. Thanks!

The US manual is available online, and should give you an answer. I think Eco mode is common across all trims. Consensus seems to be that you’ll get another 15 miles or so of range, but it’s not a game changer.

Do you have a link to it? I found a manual, but it seems to be outdated as it doesn't talk about things like the new digital key 2.

Not sure if this is the 'outdated' one you're referring to, but it's all I'm aware of.
Canadian manual isn't available yet.
Yes, that is the one that looks to be outdated. Still says Digital Key is Android only and doesn't say anything about battery pre-conditioning.

Are we expecting battery preconditioning? I haven't seen that in any of the marketing materials around.

On their worldwide page it shows it as well as their US press release.

Battery conditioning is a function that not only preheats to secure better performance when the battery temperature is low, but also shortens the amount of charging time by adjusting the battery temperature. By pairing with the infotainment system, it allows drivers to optimize battery conditions while searching for a fast-charging station on the navigation.

Also, after playing through the menus, I saw this option. It is similar to the IONIQ 5, but this also mentions destination set to a DC charger.
