I guess the good news is that the Genesis is holding its value. New 2011 4.6 can be had for under $37K.

Bought my silver 2010 4.6, 19,600 miles, two weeks ago for $29700. Perfect condition. You should be able to negotiate a 2010 with 20K miles for around $30K

You need to do some research on how to buy a used car. Asking price is usually way over the wholesale price, or even average retail selling price. Find a webiste that shows the wholesale and average retail selling price, take the printout to the dealer, and make an offer to them for at least $1000 below what you willing to pay, and then negotiate to your final price. Be prepared to spend a couple of hours in the negotiation process while they try and wear you down, and be prepared to leave without a purchase.
