  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a 2012 rspec. I am not really sure if this is possible, but is there a way to get use Bluetooth to transmit audio signal to the dvd player so you can get 7.1 surround sound? Or are there alternatives that utilize all of the speakers for 7.1 surround. Thanks in advance for answering!

I don't think you can stream 7.1 surround sound via Bluetooth.

I have 2011 4.6 that comes with Tech Package as standard equipment. I can listen to 5.1 surround sound when I play DVD that has that audio track. And with 7.1 surround sound you can only listen it if you play commercial DVD-Audio disk with DTS audio encoding.

Somebody correct me if I am wrong.

Soery I might have gotten my facts wrong. Either way I was wondering if there's a way use the dvd surround sound audio for Bluetooth. I know it doesn't come with Bluetooth streaming, but was wondering if there's a way (via another piece of tech) to make it happen.
