  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Always dealer serviced, I went to Dealer for oil change at 7:30am. Service guy says "it will be 5 hours.". I replied there are several 10 minute "quick change" I could go to. His personality was not the nicest & we got into the heated discussion about waiting 5 hrs for oil change. I agreed to wait 2 hrs & they got me done in 1 HR. Scheduled my 30k service for the next morning.

Here is my bigger RUB.

12hrs after my 30k service, my low pressure light is on. Went to dealer for nitrogen in tires & was told again by same service guy "4-5 hours". I lost it, U got to be kidding me???? For a quick shot of nitrogen in my tires??? And I reminded him my car was just in for 30k mile service day before.

Edmond Automax Hyundai could not offer me a good price when I bought my car & now they can't offer decent service. Trying to support my local Hyundai, but Edmond Automax Hyundai is terrible.

From above post......just pulled into another Automax Hyundai dealership(Norman) for my tires and they said, "pull right up" and they are taking care of it now as I write this. Amazing what a bad dealership and a good dealership can do for you. "Hey, they are calling me saying I'm all set before I can finish this post. Thanks Norman Automax Hyundai."

Did you talk to the service manager? Waiting 5 hours for something that A) should have been checked on the previous visit, and B) Only takes about 30 seconds to remedy is ridiculous.

Money talks. Take your business elsewhere.

Your warranty will not be voided if required maintenance and inspections are performed and documented by qualified mechanics at your neighborhood service station.

And send the service manager at your dealership a polite letter describing your experience, noting that you'd be happy to be INVITED back for prompt and thorough service in the future.

You'd be amazed at what they'll offer, if they really value their customers and want you back. If they don't respond, then you made a good choice taking your business elsewhere.
