Very warm under driver seat and door

I've noticed it before but today was the worse. While driving to work i noticed my driver side door, under the seat, and center console it was very warm... My seat would not cool at all... Any idea what this could be?
 
after reading another thread on this topic it turned out to what i believe was the rear vent being closed and turned to to heat setting on the vertical dial. Didn't notice any heat on the way to work and cooled seat was keeping cool... What a strange design..
 
The seats are not actually cooled, they are ventilated, which means cooled if the AC is on and there's cool air in the cabin. If there's warm air to ventilate with then they are warmed...
 
All the way to Austin yesterday, I was wondering why the car was so warm, despite my temperature settings, the seat was warm, despite the cooler. This morning, as I grab my work bag out of the rear footwell, I noticed that my wife had set the rear temp control to warm when she rode in the back last week. Sigh. :confused:
