  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey guys, I have a 2011 3.8 v6 Coupe. I noticed right away when I purchased the car, it begins to vibrate/pulse, that's especially noticeable when I reach 60 mph. I thought it was the alignment but I brought it to the dealer and they said that wasn't the problem. They said they reconnected an intake manifold pcv hose. They then told me they recommend a $159 3 parts emissions service. I said no at the time. I took the car out and it still makes a very noticeable vibration at around 60 mph. I was just wondering if you guys had any ideas of what it could be.

Thanks a lot for any help!

Visit the Genesis Coupe.com forum site. There you will find a long and lengthy thread about a driveline vibration issue...requiring many parts to replace. I hope your issue is not related to the driveline lash in the rear differential. But would be a good source of info for you and your dealer to investigate.

Best of Luck.
