  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi
I'm Park and live in kor Ulsan nearby Hyundai.
I'm a univ student(Senior) who is trying to do internship in hyundai automobile.
and also thinking bout to apply for Genesis team in there.
I really luv hyundai genesis
curruntly knew this forum and its kinda good luck for me!!!
and want to listen to owner's honest idea about genesis car(actually want to listen to voice of both g80/g90 owners)

so, if its okay i want u do survey about genesis.
There are two Reasons I want you do survey. below is URL it's simple

https://goo.gl/forms/guGDxbWlEbMBkpeP2

1.when i go interview for internship, i can appeal those things(forum people write down on survey)
and interviewers(Executives) can know what are they(people in u.s.)thinking about their genesis.
if times right, can be reflected in next genesis. I promise u, i will do my best to deliver ur opinions.

2.US is the biggest luxury car market. its obvious. and you guys trusted Genesis and chose it.
So I want to listen to precious opinions of local and real owners in America.

and It's kind of interesting project I think but sadly survey deadline is coming.
So who read this thread, I want them share this simple survey to other Genesis users around them
More people do survey, more powerful result can be delivered toward company.

And I'm supposed to show you the result. you can know each others opinion.
Feedbacks for survey is welcome!!!

It's really meaningful project to us i think.

Your small opinion can make Genesis bigger.

Thank you.

Good luck!

The thing that you are interested in user's opinion says a lot about you as a professional in the future.

I wish you good luck as well!

Two things to contribute. I had an ultimate 2010 4.6. I could get 29mpg with judicious use gas pedal. I traded for the 2013 3.8. It is a gas guzzler compared to the 4.6. I like the bells and whistles on the 2013, but the drop in fuel economy is a regret.
#2 gas milage in cruise control causes significant reduction to gas milage. I won't use it because of this. It seems to me it would be a simple software adjust the heavy cruise control foot. There is no need to reach the set speed, instantly. A more conservative acceleration clearly the solution to what I consider a deficiency.
Best of luck, genesisluver

What you consider a deficiency, others consider a benefit. The need to get back to speed varies with traffic. With adaptive CC, you will not accelerate any faster than the car in front of you, if there is one. Given the small amount of times you have to resume it is self inflicted punishment not to use a very handy feature. You can always engage "resume" when back to speed even if you piss off the drivers behind you.

If there is no car in the passing lane, there is no need for great acceleration to the set speed unless you are in a hurry, at which point you can use the gas peddle. If you locked in behind a slow driver and traffic in adjacent lanes and a lane opens up and you enter that lane why waste fuel getting back to you set speed unless you have money to burn or you are in a hurry? I do not have problem with either of these reasons, but I would rather a more restrained resumption of speed to save money at the pump.
