VR1 20/50 in 5.0 V8

New owner for G80 5.0 Ulitmate, picking up Nov 6. Huge fan of VR1, run in my MasterCraft, Porsche 944T race car but not sure where the temp range of the V8 runs. Just looking to see what grade owners are running. TIA.
I'll see what the dealer installs at oil changes, but I prefer Valvoline products after breaking down some race engines where the bearings have shown minimal wear using VR1.

Not sure what temp you are talking about,oil or coolant? I know in my 2015 5.0 the oil is up at 200-220 degrees. Coolant is at the low 200s. If that helps you out any?

I assume the VR one stands for Valvoline racing? You love the 5.0 I run 5/20 in mine. I am in South Dakota though. Hotter climates might call for 10/30
