  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Does anybody know of a place to purchase the VS460 Badging for the Equus?

They were being sold on EBay a few months ago but have since disappeared.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Actually found a place in South Korea that has them.

Using PayPal they are $12.99 shipping included.

If anybody needs the information, just drop a request in this thread.

I'll report back when they arrive.

I'd be interested to know if they have other Korea-market parts! Who are they, if you don't mind me asking? Do you have a link?

Thanks.

Excuse my ignorance, but what does VS stand for?

One more:

I'm not sure I'd want to advertise the 4.6 when soon enough everyone will be driving the 5.0.

My best guess:

V = ?
S = Sedan
L = Limousine
380 = 3.8L V6
460 = 4.6L V8
500 = 5.0L V8

VS460 = Equus Sedan with 4.6L Engine
VL500 = Equus Limo with 5.0L Engine
VS500 = Equus Sedan with 5.0L Engine (Coming Soon)

As far as the advertising goes, it is just a representation of what is actually under the hood. Wish I could have waited for the 2012 Equus with the 5.0L V8 but the timing just didn't workout for me.
