  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Waiting on a low miles 2015 to arrive -- anything I should know/do at the outset?

Getting restless, waiting on my car to ship! I bought a 2015 5.0 ultimate after hunting for low miles examples for a while, I made the plunge on one with under 23k on the clock. In my brain, this eight year old car is "nearly new," lmfao. But for real, 20k miles isn't a ton of wear and tear and I want to keep this car as fresh as I can.

So is there anything I should be mindful of, particularly gentle with, etc? Any mods better done now than later (not looking to hotrod the car)? Any periodic maintenance/inspection I should commit to routine? Anything else I'm not thinking of?

So excited -- this is the first "new" car we've bought in over a decade!

Congrats, overall a fabulous car. We bought our 2015 Ultimate 3.8 rwd as a used cpo.

The only real problem was the rear differential which was replaced under warranty due to whining noise.
Two rubber wear items: trunk latch and upper brake light that are certain to fall apart due to age and sun exposure. Oh, and the incandescent DRL bulbs burn out frequently (long saga).

Reports of moonroof issues, propeller shaft noise, and oil pressure sensors failing. If you plan on keeping it long-term consider an extended warranty or at least a cpo which gets the cpo 10/100 powertrain warranty.

Overall it's a great quiet, confident safe, and sporty limo. Avoid the Hyundai dealer service whenever possible.

I concur.
