  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

The G70 Sport Advanced has these diamond honeycomb shaped grilles that catch car wash water and turn white.
has anyone had success coating it with a plastic friendly wax type product?
I am hoping it will be made to bead up so much it wont stay on the grille.

I’ve used a couple of products. I bought some Griots ceramic spray wax that I used on the whole car. It’s what’s called a Hybid. It’s more like a quick detailer, but so far I’m quite happy with it and it’s simple to use. It’s about $20 and I bought mine at Auto Zone. This is not the type of ceramic that takes tons of prep to put on.

When I wash my car I use a high powered blower on the grill then it just takes a quick wipe with a towel. None of the tinted chrome on the car likes to be touched though.

A blower will help with these kinds of spots and like around the mirrors door handles anywhere that water can sit and then drip later. If you wash your own car. Look into getting a car blower

Or a pet groomer dryer that you can "use" to blow dry your car after a wash.

I try to do a no touch wash
