Warning about corrosion treatment in user manual

Hi, I just found this warning in the user manual of my 2022 G70 (Canadian model), page 530:

Also, do not remove the heat sink
around the exhaust system, do not
seal the bottom of the vehicle, and
do not coat the vehicle for corrosion
control. It may present a fire risk
under certain conditions.

Does this mean that rust proofing the vehicle is not recommended by Genesis, and could cause a security risk?

I don't think any car maker wants you do do any undercoating these days. It was a big business back in the 1980s and improperly applied, cause more rust than it protected. Some were petroleum based and thick so yes, they probably could burn.
