  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have been having a lot of issues with my sat radio antenna. I start the car and it says "no signal." BT, GPS, everything else works fine. SiriusXM has been very helpful, and they conclude that the problem is with the sat radio antenna, possibly a loose connection because the problem is intermittent. Does anybody know if this is covered by a warranty? My car is under a year old.

Surely it should be, unless you have very high miles.
I have the same problem, but I feel like it is because I am starting in my garage.

I start my car in my garage, too, and it does not pick up a signal until I back out. I also noticed that I don't get the splash window asking me to confirm anymore. I wonder if I should start shutting off the radio before I pull into the garage, and start it when I'm out. I never had this problem with sat radio before.

To be clear about my little joke, the radio works fine once I back out of the garage.

That would make no difference. It has to "see" the satellite to get a signa. Under some overpasses, heavily tree lined street is can check out.

Are you sure there is no confirmation screen or perhaps you just don't look any more. It goes away after a few seconds if you do nothing. Four cars, three garages, none worked inside.

Unless you passed the 60,000 miles it should be covered.
