  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Got a Hyundai Genesis Sedan 2011 4 months ago.

It's been raining quite heavily in northern california and starting last week I noticed a puddle is left on the floor of the passenger seat of my car. The entire floor was covered with water however the seat or the dash were dry.

Has anyone had this experience? I'll be taking it in for them to look at it. But as its been getting wet due to rain, it is most likely already molding... Not a good first experience with Hyundaii.

Could be a blocked drain. If it is a mfg defect make sure they put in all new carpet and underlayment.

Our 2009 was not leaking in the floor, but the head liner. Dealer was not much help. I discovered that the drain for the sunroof was not connected at the top under the head liner. Fixed it.:)

ya might wanna look in the trunk too.. theres probably water in there too :(
