Way to disable the lock/unlock chime?

I'd rather have it be silent and just flash the lights. Anyone know of the way to disable the chime? The manual didn't have any info on disabling the chime.

Don't know which option package you have, but on the Technology Package, it's under Info > Car Settings > Door Lock Sound.

Got it. Thanks. For some reason, that menu item is disabled for me sometimes and I just glossed over it during the casual browse through the various "settings". But if I hover on that menu for a few moments, the "car settings" will become enabled.

Hmmm, I know the menu is disabled if the car is in motion, but I've never seen it disabled otherwise.

Glad to read this post, as my "car settings" is disabled at times too, I'm pretty sure even while not driving...I'm going to hover over it to see if it activates...thx for the tip!
