SiriusXM is buying Pandora in $3.5 billion deal
I've been using Pandora pretty exclusively for 6 years now, I don't mind the $40 a year charge for no ads and unlimited streaming, I have it fine tuned to my tastes.
over the last year they have really aggravated me with some of their new "features" which have screwed up my channels, resulting in some of the channels playing the same dozen songs over and over when I have over 1600 "thumbed up" in the queue, then the splitting of the packages and raising the price to triple what I was paying for the same service.
Now with SiriusXM taking over and their horrible billing practices, Time to find something new..
I won't give SiriusXM any business, would not even tune into it when it was free on my last 4 cars after the mess I had with them trying to cancel after selling a car in 2010. took over a year and cancelling the credit card they had to get them to stop the service, dozens of phone calls, letters indicating I sold the vehicle, etc and they continued the service and continued billing.
