Wet Nitrous Setup Advice for 3.8 RS on E85 (280k km)

Hey everyone,

I’m running a Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 RS (manual), and I’m about to start a wet nitrous project (fuel + nitrous sprayed together). The car is already fully set up for E85 and tuned by Alpha Speed.

Here are the main mods currently on the car:

- Ported upper and lower intake manifolds
- Long tube intake
- Throttle body and intake manifold spacers
- High-performance fuel pump
- Upgraded ethanol-compatible injectors
- NGK spark plugs
- Full bolt-ons (headers, exhaust, etc.)

This is just a highlight of the important supporting mods. The car runs great on E85 and is very responsive.

Now I’m looking for advice before I install the nitrous:

- What’s a **safe nitrous shot** on a high-mileage 3.8 engine? (Car has around **280,000 km** on it but very well maintained with regular oil changes.)
- Is a **75 shot** safe?
- Would a **100 shot** be pushing it?

- Do I **need to retune** after installing the nitrous kit, even though it's a wet shot?

I’m not planning to use nitrous daily — just occasional pulls or fun runs. I’d love to hear from anyone who's run nitrous on this platform or knows someone who has. Any tips, do’s/don’ts, or experience is highly appreciated!
