What A Difference A Week Makes!!!!

As of two hours ago I am now the proud owner of a Black / Black 3.8 with the Premium Plus package. OMG!!!! I can't believe how gorgeous this car is and the absolute feeling of quality and luxury that I never felt in my 8 Cadillacs and 2 Lincolns.

My dealer is McCafferty Hyundai in Langhorn PA, a suburb of Philadelphia. This is the same dealership that I walked out of in disgust last week and posted about on this board. Well, I got a call a couple of days back from Mike Strenge, the genreal manager, who had become aware of my posts. Remembering me from when I spoke with him three years ago when my brother was purchasing his 2007 Sonata, he called and said he'd make things right. Over the phone we made a deal that was beyond what I ever expected to negotiate.

This morning I went back to Jim Shulack, the sales rep I know and had wanted tro speak with last week, we QUICKLY got through the paperwork, and I am absolutely thrilled!!!

Well, on Wednesday its time for my brother to visit the dealership and start looking for a '10 Hyundai model to replace his leased caar which is being turned in next month!!!

Well, let me follow up on my original post. One week after I purchased my Genesis my brother purchased a 2009 Azera. On January 30th of this year I went back to the dealer and, for my birthday, bought my own present -- a 2010 Tucson limited. Just in time for the record breaking snowfalls that hit the east coast.

Every time I drive my Genesis people come up to me, especially 20 somethings, telling me how gorgeous this car is and most of them still asking what kind of car this is, since most people have never even heard of Genesis.

A few years back I though of Hyundai as a car for people who need co-signers. Now I own two Hyundais and love them.
