  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I absolutely hate the color of the day time running lights and the fogs. I have read through a few "bulb" threads and wanted to get some experts to weigh in.

I don't want anything "blue", but I would like to find some colors that match nicely. I like the yellow H8, but its not really my thing.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Look for something around "4300 Kelvin". Keep in mind that the functionality of day time running lights may not be as effective as the stock color though. The color of the new lights may blend in to the housing more.

Also keep in mind that the small reflector bowl of the fog housing makes the color seem a higher temp than it is. 4300K looks like 5000K etc...

The factory D1S HID (low beam) is 4300k, I purchased some Luminics H8 5100k which closely match the HID lights.

Please don't turn your headlights into something that will absolutely annoy and potentially blind oncoming drivers !! :)
