What did they screw up during my 15K service?

Had my Gen v8 services for 15K and when I got it back I noticed that I could feel the driver seat vibrates somewhat in sync with the engine when in neutral. I'm pretty sure it wasn't the case before the service. Once after turning engine on there was quite a perceptible vibration AND check engine light lit on. After restarting the car the light didn't come on, but the vibration, albeit less pronounced remained.

Now, I also started feeling vibration coming through both driver seat AND steering wheel when driving - I might attribute that to the tires and all, I'm going to get those replaced by Hyundai in scope of the replacement campaign and see if tires are the cause. and vibration is really pronounceable to the point that my hands get tired of holding the wheel after driving for 15-20 minutes. It's not like the wheels are out of balance - the car doesn't pull and the steering wheel doesn't stutter left-right, it just vibrates.

Not happy here lately Any idea what it might be and what the dealer needs to check?

odd as the 15k service should only be tire rotation, oil and fuel treatment. Perhaps the fuel cleaner is making the engine run rougher? I would run through the gas currently in the tank and see what happens with new gas. If it still occurs check back with the dealer.

Make sure all the ignition wires and fuel injector wires are still attached, that you don't have a loose wire just hanging somewhere. (Gee, I wonder what this was for??)

If the check engine light came on, shouldn't it have left a code for the malfunction in the car's computer? I would certainly ask the dealer to take a look and check for codes.

So at last I got to run tests through torque and that's what it gave me (only fails, I skipped all passes). I assume Misfire Cylinder 6 Data is bad, right? Though these are not OBD codes, these are results of tests (don't ask what's the difference - I dunno, just going by different screens in Torque).

Do these make any sense whatsoever?

Obviously something caused a problem. I have no idea what the codes mean but I certainly would take it back to the dealer that did the service. At 15K miles, aren't you still in warranty?

No worries about warranty, I just need to make sure they line up everything for 3 recalls, I don't wanna go there again and again and again.

the misfire at cyl 6 will cause the engine to run really rough and explains all of it. The question is WTH did they do at the service? I'd call up and complain loudly and have THEM tow it at their expense and fix it. Did you check the oil level? The o2 sensor error could possibly be over-filled oil and this would not be the first time at an oil change that someone forgot to drain the old oil before adding the new.

I would not tolerate such a vibration ...who knows how long will take to get parts.

My money is on a loose wire.

Specifically - I'm betting a loose injector wire. Have seen this happen.

Those are TSBs and the dealer is saying that the parts are on national backorder and they don't have any estimate as to when they will be available. So I'm taking her in for this engine problem this Friday, and will have to go back for the TSBs again.

So....
They couldn't find a damn thing.

First, I got to figure that it was my own ass that all of a sudden got too picky about car vibrating in idle - they got me 2 new v8s off the lot and those had these kinda subtle engine-induced vibrations. So I guess I'm fine with that.

As far as sensor readings - they couldn't get anything, they were basically looking for ECU codes, but those were not there. The way the adviser explained it, I either erased them - impossible, since OBD II Adapter + Phone app is a read-only thing OR - and that is true - ECU codes are getting cleared after 3 successful drives after error occurred. Which is an interesting notion - didn't know that kinda details. Now back to square 1 - "if check engine light comes up - bring it in".

Also asked them to order new tires to replace under that campign, the vibration while driving is quite pronounced, even on smooth asphalt, so I'll try new tires to see if that helps.

Btw, tires (for 19'' v8) are on "national backorder" and "we had hard time getting our hands on them". No ETA
