Any changes will void the warranty if there is any relationship to the warranty issue and changes you made. For example, if you change the exhaust, and your moon roof motor goes bad, then Hyundai cannot get away with claiming the warranty on the moon roof is void. But if anything goes wrong with the engine (even if not directly related to exhaust), they probably would "claim" the warranty is void.I have been looking for performance parts and mods to do....seems that the only thing out there r intake filters and exhaust system.... I talked to the dealership today and they said a exhaustwill void my warranty ....really??? 5.0 with no sound ??? Gay.....ideas suggestions. ????

Technically any mod you do is arguably a warranty issue. As mentioned, the only way to avoid these issues is with removable parts. If you are looking for sound, I would unbolt the central exhaust system and replace it with a bolt in in custom made electric cut out unit. This can easily be swapped out to the original and gives you the best of both worlds. Dead stock silent or screaming loud or any where in between.
