  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So I go away on a business trip for a few days, leaving my Genny parked well in to my covered parking spot in my nice gated community, and this is what I find when I come back (see pictures). By the tire marks, it looks like some a*****e wasn't looking behind them when they were reversing and swiped the back of my car. I've managed to get all the black paint off from the car that hit me, but my rear bumper will need some careful painting. No dents, thankfully, but this is less than two weeks before my lease is up! Grrrrrr.

Ahhhh man sorry about the scratches, silver lining is no one got hurt right? So what do you plan on doing after the lease, will you buy it, i heard the Genesis has a great resale value

I'm turning in my Genny, with every intention of leasing a new one. Fortunately, the SGS inspector came around today and noted less than $300 to repaint the affected parts. Other than that, the car is immaculate! :D

Is that the tire markets- burn out- from the perpetrator who did the damage on the pavement below?

'Fraid so. They either stopped mighty quickly, or gunned it when they realized they hit me. Despite the fact that it's illegal to damage another car and just drive away, some common courtesy would've been nice, like a note on my windscreen.

Anyway, I just got back from Orange County Hyundai. I start a three year lease on a 2011 3.8L Tech tomorrow! :D
