  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Mine got a much needed lens cleaning and we also added a gps visor. Now we both see so much better 👍3A56DB88-9478-4C93-BCD6-4E3A358CF16B.webp

I gave my 5.0 Genesis premium 93 octane gasoline at $5.89 a gallon. My 5.0 thanked me by flying down the highway and merging like it should without a hiccup.:)

I have done a lot since I just got mine a month ago:

1. Passenger and driver windows tinted
2. Installed door striker covers
3. Installed genesis branded valve stem caps
4. Installed genesis branded door handle catch plates
5. Bought dashcam (getting it professionally installed next week)
6. Purchased Genisis branded brushed aluminum door inside moldings (will be in next week)
7. Setting up to get ceramic coating in a couple of weeks
8. Purchased a sunshade
9. Purchased a net storage unit to hang between the front seats
10. Purchased hooks for the wife's purse

Looking to get wheel locks and maybe different lug bolts (nicer looking ones). Not sure what else I may be doing.

My G70 lights are still fine, but I have an older car that the lens needs some polish done to get the clarity back. Have been wondering once I do that if a lens film kit might help extend the clarity before it goes back dingy or not? Ive seen precut kits that you can apply to help with rock chips and the like but think they also help with UV and minimizing the aging affect coming back too quick just not talked to anyone to know for sure how well those kits work?

I added the purse holder between the two front seats too. Pretty handy to have a place to put your purse out of the way. Ordered the genesis emblem for the hood since my 2011 didn’t come with one and I miss having it. Also had to change out my fuse for the cigarette lighters so I could charge my phone. Little things that make me happier in my car.

I did a diy on the lights with toothpaste that I found on YouTube that worked like a charm. Just followed up with wax to seal it in. May have to go more professional later but it looks so much better.

Yikes I know that hurt your wallet but these cars do cruise beautifully.

My old pickup had fogged headlights. I got a kit from Autozone. It worked great. Crystal clear now and comes with a coating to protect them.
