  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I'm pretty sure I'll be buying the genesis, but if the lease rate is really good, i might lease.

Does anyone know what the interest rate or money factor is when leased thru hyundai?

I think it is .00275, not great, but not the worst either. The finance manager should be able to tell you for sure.

that's terrible!
MF of 0.00275 equals 6.6% APR
APR=MF * 2400

did you lease it?
what was the residual value? was it for 12k miles/yr?

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Check "http://www.ridewithg.com/" website or Edmunds Lease forum for current MF rates and residuals.

Your lease rate depends on your credit rating. Just like in a traditional financed purchase. You can find the lowest lease rate available from HMF on the Hyundai website under "special offers". You need to input your zip and model. Rates also vary across the country and by the term of the lease.

For example, in Dallas you can currently get a 0.9% lease rate for 36 months on a 2012 Genesis if you qualify for the lowest rate.

My current 2009 Genesis is leased via HMF at 0.6%.

great info at the site. thanks.
money factor isn't very low, which means hyundai is not having much problem selling the genesis.

i know hyundai offers 0.9% APR on financing the car for 36 months for the 2012 genesis, but this is not the rate for leasing.
