Welcome. Both topics have been combined into one and the title has been updated. My car has me stress out trying to find out this sensor but I don’t know the name of it can some one help me describe this part
That's not a sensor. It doesn't sense anything, it controls something. Can someone help me describe this sensor trying to order a new one but don’t know the name of it where the blue arrow is don’t know if it’s a cam sensor just need help with the name for I can order new one
Looks like it could be a cam position sensor to me (with the connector disconnected). It appears to be directly over the intake cam.Can someone help me describe this sensor trying to order a new one but don’t know the name of it where the blue arrow is don’t know if it’s a cam sensor just need help with the name for I can order new one

I disconnected it it was full of oil and I clean it with electrical cleaner started working fine for a few days it’s back full of oilThat's not a sensor. It doesn't sense anything, it controls something.
Why do you believe you need a new one? You are pointing to the OCV cover. If you have an oil leak, then the cover is all you need and is very easy to change out. On the other hand if you are having some valve timing problem then you probably need the thing that it covers, the VVT (Variable Valve Timing) solenoid. That is considerably more involved to change out. The valve cover has to come off, so I'd order that valve cover gasket set too.
I am curious as to how you know that you need a part that you can't even identify?
No oil leak on floor just around that ocv coverThat's not a sensor. It doesn't sense anything, it controls something.

Nope, that's not where the cam sensor is.Looks like it could be a cam position sensor to me (with the connector disconnected). It appears to be directly over the intake cam.
If it's coming through the electrical connector, then you will need the VVT solenoid (I'd get a new seal too.)I disconnected it it was full of oil and I clean it with electrical cleaner started working fine for a few days it’s back full of oil
Thank you so much god bless youNope, that's not where the cam sensor is.

Please note that this is one of the parts that you shouldn't mess with if you don't know what you are doing. Engine destruction is possible if you mess up the timing replacing it....the VVT (Variable Valve Timing) solenoid. ...
