  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Is this something the dealer had done? I cannot find it on the Hyundai site.
There is nothing listed on the dealer site or the window sticker.

I kinda like it.

That's just wrong.

I think the white is a plastic shipping protector, the dealer peels it off before delivery. I'm sure you can get him to leave it on if you like it. :-)

I don't think so - they don't use that much plastic shipping protector! This is what a Genesis looks like when it shows up at the dealer with the protection film still in place:

No it's a black car with white protective plastic vinyl ...you can see the wrinkles on the hood .......
Did anyone notice the different style rims ???

I think they are the standard rims but with the same protective film over them.

Not film - hard molded/formed plastic shipping covers over the standard V6 rims.

There are no wrinkles on the Op's picture - I just see some reflections. Everything else on the car is white, so it's appears to be a white car with black added to the nose (likely vinyl). You can see additional black sections on both sides of the lower front air dam as well.

As I showed on the pic of the Empire State Gray V6, the protective film they ship with is only applied to the hood, roof and (not visible) trunk lid. Why they did this to the white car is anyone's guess - but it's not the protective shipping film.

Here are some more pics of it. In other pics it looks like they added a spoiler, so I am thinking that this is a dealer add on accessory

Not so sure that dark highlight at the nose fits this car very well. It draws too much attention to the front overhang and screws with the lines to much. It appears to maybe be a sort of Audi R8 based idea, but the Genesis long hood already has the car appearing lengthy enough.

Looks like one of those 5k dollar dealer packages...guess they didn't have an elentra to screw up
