  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Of those who have bought a Coupe, share with us the price you've paid. Thanks.

For what it's worth, I paid sticker. I focused on the best price on my trade, which I thought I did well with.

Thats exactly what my thinking was when I went in. After about 10 minutes of back and forth we agreed on a number and I laid my deposit down.

Now the hardest part, waiting. I could have drove off in the red one I test drove, but I'll stick it out for the Grey. Aside from black thats the only color I'd want.

Well done. The wait will be over soon and you'll be glad you held out for the color you really want.

$26,000 for a Grey 2.0T Track Edition. Still waiting for my allocation though, suspense is KILLING me! Grats to those of you already driving this beast

Paid just under sticker for 2.0T Track in Gray. Dealer had it for me last Friday and I picked it up on Sat. When you want something that is very scarce, you have to be ready to pay. Great car! Let the modding begin.:D

Picking mine up tomorrow night in VA.

Genesis Coupe 2.0T
Track Package
Silver
$26,000 Neg price

How much did you pay for yours?

When you want something that is very scarce, you have to be ready to pay.

That's what I expected too but dealers seemed quite willing to negotiate and there were only 5 2.0T Tracks within 300 miles of me. Mine ended up $400 under dealer invoice $1,700 under sticker.

Okay Priority, since you insist on being such an a**hole anytime I try and help other people negotiate I will post it. I will scan my paperwork and post it. You know where? In my Buying/Leasing thread so others can realize they don't have to pay the outrageous markups I'm betting you charge.

Why are you so afraid of people knowing what deals they can get?

If you don't want to sell your cars for what other dealers are willing to sell them for fine, that's your prerogative, but stop trying to convince people they need to throw their money away.

I paid just under MSRP, The car is so new that is very little room to negotiate. They are selling themselves so dealers don't have to make deals to sell the cars.

another clueless one, what i was saying was dang if you got that kinda deal already id like to see it in writing, that way if i get a customer who says such and such price someone tells them they would sell for, i can use that as a negotiating tool with my manager in thier favor. stop overreacting like a child. i can respond to whatever, not my fault you get sensitive and take it the wrong way.

Yeah chill out a bit JohnnyK

Since you live in NJ- I would not doubt your price at all- I know my friends at Lester Glenn can do those types of deals

I paid $27200 Canadian for my Red 2.0T Prm/Pkg. Thats about $22000 US. For some reason though, the spec sheets up here said that the Prm wouldnt have leather, but mine does. Ive got everything except for the Push Button Start. Dealer was asking 29000 so I got them down a bit. Helps to have another Hyundai dealer down the street competing haha

Do you have any other option on it ? The invoice price of 2.0T Track is $26,146 including destination charge($750).

Thanks

My sticker price was 27,625

2.0T Track
Silverstone

Inc:
Carpeted Floor Mats
iPod Cable

Neg Price: 26,000
Factory Rebate: 1,000
Final Sale Price: 25,000
Tax: 957
Title & Reg 200
Lease Acquisition: 595
Doc Fee 389

Total Cost: 27,141

Everything factored in I was still under MSRP, don't listen to dealers who act as if they have no room to move on this car and want to sell for MSRP.

I think that's curent cash back from Hundai Financing for leasing on Genesis coupe.

Wait up. You guys I need help then. My dealer wants to charge me $28,489 with tax title and everything for my 2.0T Premium Auto. Im not sure how this is going to work but any help would be appreciated.

Your dealer is taking you for a ride.

The dealer's invoice price for your car is $24,220, this is the most you should even consider paying pre-fees/tax/reg.

If you roll in my fees and taxes (7% sales tax $1695 + Reg/Tags $200 + Doc Fee $389 = est 26,504)

The most absolute most you should pay INCLUDING FEES would be around $26,000-27,000 if you are buying the car.

If you are leasing the car (7% sales tax with 57% residual $730 + Reg/Tags $200 + Doc Fee $389 + Lease Acq $595 - Rebate $1000 = est 25,135)

The most absolute most you should pay INCLUDING FEES would be around $24,500-25,500 if you are leasing the car.

Sales tax is different for each state. Oklahoma charges 3.25%. And the few our auto group have sold have been for sticker or more if we have to go far to make a dealer trade.

The nice thing is that we have 4 Hyundai stores in Oklahoma so we pretty much have an awesome selection at any given time. If anyone needs some love in the Oklahoma area, drop me a line and I'll see what I can do. Especially if I'm getting business from nearby states. I'm sure we'll give you some extra consideration. :)
