  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

What tires would you recommend for a G70 3.3 AWD

I prefer a Smooth and Quiet ride. Dont want run flats or all season and tread wear not an issue, drive less than 10k a year. Heard good things about Bridgestone Turanza QuietTrack.

Sorry, I'm not understanding... do you want an all-season, or not? The tire you suggest is an all-season.

If you want summer tires, the two top tires are Michelin Pilot Sport 4S and the Continental ExtremeContact Sport 2. IMHO they are in a class of their own, and pricing doesn't really warrant any of the alternatives unless you find them on clearance or something. If you do, I'd stick to major name brands like Yokohama, Dunlop, and Bridgestone (although the BS tend to have stiff sidewalls).

For all season the top recommendation is usually the Continental DWS06; the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 and Yokohama ADVAN Sport A/S+ are also excellent (although slightly less sporty) alternatives.

I live in Canada and use winter tires in the winter; I will likely change to one of the all-season options I mention when my OE Michelin PS4s wear out to better manage the shoulder seasons.

turanza quiet track does not come in Genesis size
any other suggestions for this sort of tire? Michelin primacy?

Well, the Primacy is offered by Genesis on AWD G70s in the US. I don't have much recent experience with that category of comfort-oriented touring tires, but I would generally stick to Michelin or Yokohama for quality.

My GV60P came with Michelin Primacy Tour A/S tires. I wanted performance and didn't feel like the Primacy were good enough on the turns so I replaced all four with the ultra performance Pilot Sport 4S tires. I love mine BUT I wouldn't recommend them for the OP.

The OP wants a quiet ride. The 4S tires were way noisier than the Primacy tires. It was a tradeoff that I was okay with but I suspect that the OP will not.

The OP is confusing by stating he doesn't want all season and then asking about an all season tire. My suggestion to the OP to (1) clarify what his goals are [all season or summer]; and (2) give us the choices he is looking at and we can then give him any thoughts we might have for him or whether a particular tire is inconsistent with any of his goals or our experience with that tire.

I loved my Continental Extreme sport contact 2. Highly recommend.

Have ran those on a previous Infiniti G37, nice tires, grip almost as good as the Michelin Pilots but lasted a bit longer and tend to cost less too so that's a WIN!

I also noticed they have better wet performance than the Michelin's once the tires are half worn or more.
